RIGS is currently affiliated with several universities and are sending students abroad for their higher studies. Even-though much of the highlight goes to the medicine sector at RIGS, we have not restricted to it. Students have a vast diversity of courses from which they could choose.

QIB campus mainly focuses on sending students to Armenia for Medicine degree (MBBS). Apart from that they send students for many programs in Singapore, UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to name a few.

Yerevan State Medical University
Yerevan State Medical University is one of the leading government medical universities in Eastern Europe. It was founded in 1920 as a faculty and established as an independent Institution in 1930. The University is enlisted in the Directory of Higher Medical Institutions adopted by the World Health Organization (WHO). YSMU is a State non-commercial institution under the Ministry of Education and Science. In nearly a century long existence the University has trained over 30,000 doctors. Currently, over 162 Doctor of Sciences and 481 Ph.D. degree holders constitute the University faculty of 1100 Professors.
Tianjin Medical University
Tianjin Medical University which was established in 1951 was the first medical institution approved by the State Council after the founding of The People’s Republic of China.Tianjin Medical University has more than 50 partner universities in over 16 countries, 108 Guest-Professors of the famous research institutes from all over the world, such as the Johns Hopkins University. Currently the university has 5 post-Ph.D research stations, 37 Ph.D authorizing subjects and 68 Master’s degree authorizing subjects with 229 Ph.D. supervisors and 737 Master’s degree supervisors.
Over 1800 Medical Students recruited by China Lanka, have successfully completed their MBBS Degree in China. Upon their return to Sri Lanka, they have successfully passed the qualifying exam to obtain license to practice medicine in Sri Lanka. After having obtained the license from Sri Lanka Medical Council, they practice medicine in Government and Private Hospitals in Sri Lanka and also work in foreign countries such as USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Switzerland.
