Practical English Course

English has become an essential language in the world right now and it has reached a stage where without English language one can’t survive in a good environment. But, you might feel that you know English enough to survive with others. But if you think properly, can you? Can you give a speech in English in front of a crowd? Can you write a proper essay with correct grammar? Do you have the self-confidence to reply back in English if someone asks you a question in English? Do you feel shy to speak in English thinking that people will laugh at you? Are you scared that you are not able to complete a proper sentence while speaking? These are many questions we all have. But we are not ready to correct them because we are scared that people will make fun of us. That is why at Rotary we decided to start a course like this and give you a solution to your questions. We will make you able to speak in English well, write in English with proper grammar and make you confident and an outstanding person from the rest of your group. Just like our other courses, we try to make it practical as possible so you will get a different experience from this course. Also there is no age limit to join this course. Anyone is free to join our class.  

ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂාව මේ වන විට ලෝකයේ අත්‍යවශ්‍ය භාෂාවක් බවට පත්ව ඇති අතර ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂාව නොමැතිව යහපත් පරිසරයක ජීවත් විය නොහැකි තත්ත්වයකට එය පැමිණ ඇත. එහෙත්, ඔබ අන් අය සමඟ ජීවත් වීමට ප්‍රමාණවත් ඉංග්‍රීසි දන්නා බව ඔබට හැඟෙන්නට පුළුවන. නමුත් ඔබ නිවැරදිව සිතන්නේ නම්, ඔබට හැකිද? සෙනඟක් ඉදිරියේ ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් කතාවක් කරන්න පුළුවන්ද? ඔබට නිවැරදි ව්‍යාකරණ සමඟ නිසි රචනයක් ලිවිය හැකිද? කවුරුහරි ඔබෙන් ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් ප්‍රශ්නයක් ඇසුවොත් නැවත ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් පිළිතුරු දීමට ඔබට ආත්ම ශක්තියක් තිබේද? මිනිසුන් ඔබට සිනාසෙනු ඇතැයි සිතමින් ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් කතා කිරීමට ඔබට ලැජ්ජාවක් දැනෙනවාද? කතා කරද්දී නියම වාක්‍යයක් සම්පූර්ණ කරන්න බැරි වෙයි කියලා බයද? මේවා අපි හැමෝටම තියෙන ප්‍රශ්න ගොඩක්. නමුත් මිනිස්සු අපිට විහිළු කරයි කියලා බය නිසා අපි ඒවා නිවැරදි කරන්න සූදානම් නැහැ. ඒ නිසා තමයි රොටරි ආයතනයේ අපි තීරණය කළේ මේ වගේ පාඨමාලාවක් ආරම්භ කරලා ඔබේ ප්‍රශ්නවලට විසඳුමක් දෙන්න. අපි ඔබට ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂාවෙන් හොඳින් කතා කිරීමටත්, නිසි ව්‍යාකරණ සමඟ ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් ලිවීමටත්, ඔබේ කණ්ඩායමේ සෙසු අයගෙන් ඔබට විශ්වාසයක් සහ කැපී පෙනෙන පුද්ගලයෙක් බවට පත් කිරීමටත් අපි ඔබට හැකියාව ලබා දෙන්නෙමු. අපගේ අනෙකුත් පාඨමාලා මෙන්ම, අපි එය හැකිතාක් ප්‍රායෝගික කිරීමට උත්සාහ කරමු, එවිට ඔබට මෙම පාඨමාලාවෙන් වෙනස් අත්දැකීමක් ලැබෙනු ඇත. එසේම මෙම පාඨමාලාවට සම්බන්ධ වීමට වයස් සීමාවක් නොමැත. ඕනෑම කෙනෙකුට අපගේ පන්තියට සම්බන්ධ වීමට නිදහස ඇත.
